The past 8 weeks has probably been the longest layoff I have ever had from training. Due to a house extension and renovation my home gym has been filled with materials tools etc and with working day and night to get the work done.
I haven’t been able to get near the weights let alone lift them. Also in the past 8 weeks I haven’t been eating properly or supplementing
The renovation work is nearly done and most of the materials have been used so today I managed to clear the space around the Power Rack and train which was awesome as I have been gagging to train for weeks.
For the next few weeks I will be doing simple ‘weight on the bar’ workouts to get my strength backup today I did
Bench Press 40 x8 60 x8 80 x8 x8 x8 (various grips)
Dips x7 x4 x3
Chins supersetted with rack chins x3 x12 x3 x10 x3 x8 (various grips)
