I used to pull a weighted sled in my garden but recent renovations and kids stuff like trampolines and climbing frames have restricted the room for pulling and at the minute my conditioning sucks so I purchased a dog sled (picture below) this monster weighs 57 kilos and can be pushed and pulled.
I took it over to the local rec with some plates the first push I grabbed the top of the handles and pushed this didn’t work as the back of the sled lifted up and the front skis dug into the grass, (this might change when it’s weighted) so i grabbed the handles about halfway down and run.
This thing is a killer! but you can tell it’s doing you good and only good things will come from regular pushing, I managed 6 x 30 meter passes with about 2 minutes between pushes.
Over the coming weeks I will push 2-3 days a week on off days between workouts and hopefully get in better shape
